Time for Decorations!
It’s the day after Thanksgiving, time to break out the Christmas decorations, right???
The first five of my mini snowman army are now finished. Deep down, I want to crochet at least twenty more, but that probably won’t happen. Another handful wouldn’t hurt, though.
And I managed to finish their big brother. With a tip of his top hat, he would like to say “How do you do?” to all of you!
I am super happy with how he turned out. Hopefully I can get their patterns ready for release with the next week or so.
Finally, I finished a Sally the Snowflake. I have literally been waiting all year to crochet some of these! It’s a super fun pattern to work on. The first half is a little tricky because of all the directions, but once you build up a bit of steam, the work goes pretty quick. I’m working on a second one now and I’m pretty close to being on autopilot.
And maybe I was a bit ambitious thinking that I could get the new Off the Hook icon finished by today with all of the holiday stuff going on. Hopefully I can work on it more over the weekend. Here is what I got so far. As you can see, I’m still just working on the outlines! I've been having a hard time getting the proportions right, which makes a lenghty process take even longer. Soon, Monster, you will have a scarf of your own (and maybe some better looking scissors...).
