The Snack-Sized Softies: Healthy Foods eBook is a collection of five miniature amigurumi representing the healthier side of the Food Pyramid: the Blueberry Muffin, the Bread Slice, the Carrot, the Fried Egg, and the Watermelon Wedge.
These tasty treats are all “bite-sized”, ranging from 2” to 4” tall when made in worsted weight yarn. Each toy should only take an hour or two to make and most use less than 20 yards of any given color, making them prefect for stash-busting scraps!
The Snacks have been designed to use a variety of different techniques and, since they are so small, are a great way to try out new skills. The patterns are arranged by difficulty—from Easy to Challenging—and each one includes a list of any special skills required (beyond the basic single crochet, increases and decreases, etc.). As always, I’ve included plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making an entire buffet of tiny but healthy amigurumi treats!
